Works great if you are already thin and just looking to look more lean. You have to maintain a good diet and disciplined weight training routine. Its not for weight loss, not diet pills.

4 out of 5 stars Bottom line: It works well, but it is not magic nor without some side effects.   October 30, 2009

About me/my regimen: I am a not a pro athlete, nor am I a gym rat, but I am health conscious and like many people I always want to be in better shape. I have a friend that has tried Mitoropin and liked it, so I thought I'd give it a try as I worked to drop weight, or more accurately, lower body fat percentage. My regimen is more aerobic than weight training, 5 or 6 days a week for 45 minutes to an hour.

Diet is important and there are instructions with the product to aid in fat loss, I didn't follow their instructions, as they were fairly close to what my diet already is. I eat lean protein and complex carbohydrates in 6 meals a day, 3 are smaller and sometimes one is a protein shake.

The cycle is 30 days and the servings are 3 large yellow pills in the morning and 3 more 6-8 hours later, but make sure it is not too much later, as you might have trouble sleeping. They do mention this in the documentation. I did have trouble a few nights, but I adjusted and took them earlier in the day. I also didn't drink coffee at all during the 30 days. I had a lot of energy that was not highs and lows, but consistent and boundless. For that alone, I'd keep taking this. Mitotropin will help you drop body fat faster.

I wasn't jittery, but I did feel warm much of the time. Almost feverish, but nothing that bothered me. I did have a lot of energy all day and into the evening. Now as to the results, they were worth the few sleepless nights and upset stomachs (once or twice for me). I lost just about 20 lbs in that amount of time and based on working hard to drop weight, this was much better than without. In working this hard and watching my intake like this, I can lose between 3-4 lbs a week and I averaged about 5 lbs. A miracle, no, but since I was doing the work already this just made me get more out of my efforts. My guess is that I lost 5+ lbs more overall, which is not bad and worth the effort and cost. Am I ripped? No, but more defined and look in better shape, no question. I know I could have lost weight without Mitotropin, but if I were to work on getting ripped, I could see where this would be a benefit. I believe that overall I lost more body fat. In case that isn't clear, I find that I plateau when I am at a good weight, but not necessarily at a lower body fat percentage. So for just losing weight I wouldn't bother with Mitotropin for just weight loss.

I can imagine that someone more dedicated and strict would have even better results than I did. I would not recommend this to anyone thinking that just by taking these pills they will lose weight/body fat. I know that it is the combination of the Mitotropin, exercise and diet that makes this work.

Pros:
Lots of energy
Dropped weight (body fat)

Cons:
Upset stomach (occasionally)
Insomnia (occasionally)

I liked that Gaspari Nutrition took an overall approach and didn't say "take the magic pills and you'll look awesome in 30 days with no effort". There is no lack of information, as there is a good size manual which is clear and gives the path to success. I don't buy "fat burner" products, but in this case, I am glad I did.

I think this is for people that are in shape and near in-shape, as I don't feel this is a weight loss product.

Bottom line, take 30 days, follow the diet, get exercise/workout and take Mitotropin. I believe that if you do that, you will see results.

Most of gaspari works great for me. Not a fan of this though. Cytolean worked better for me. Do not stack with Cytolean. It made me really tired.

2 out of 5 stars i rather have coffee to get a jolt   February 2, 2010

basically that is all this did when it come to weight loss it didn't really work i actually gained weight while on it even though i followed a strict diet and workout routine. I was always hungry even thought it states that it will suppress appetite. and its true i don't look the same after a bottle of this i actually gained fat. i don't recommend this product just have your morning cup of Joe and you'll get the same results.
