 Some mixed results from a newby to supplements February 22, 2008

I don't know as much as the other reviewers about the chemical make up of this product, so please forgive me for not being as technical.
My personal results started poorly. The first three days, I had trouble staying asleep. It seemed like I woke up every hour. The fourth day, I noticed that I needed a lot more water. I was getting thirsty much more than usual with no substantial change to my diet.
Then things changed for the better. It was also on the fourth day that I noticed I wasn't needing as much sleep. I've been waking up a lot earlier and I feel rested. I haven't lost any weight, but I have been more alert in the mornings. To me, not a morning-person, this is an ideal change.
I don't know the ins and outs supplements, but I do know that I personally FELT myself being more alert. The dry mouth was a bit of a nuisance at first, so I keep some extra drinks nearby when possible.
Sorry for the relativistic review, I hope it is helpful for you when trying to make your decision whether to go with this product vs. something else or not at all.

This product is an excellent and effective substitute for Ephedra, which the FDA banned a little while ago because it was causing people to die from heart attacks. It is an improvement on the earlier Ripped Fuel product in that you only have to take 2 tablets and no longer 6 or 9. It will make you lose weight if used properly. I just say use it with caution. This product contains both generous amounts of caffeine and chromium picolinate, which will temporarily raise your blood pressure and increase insulin sensitivity. If you are a diabetic or are taking heart medications you should speak to your doctor first.
I lost a bit weight within the first week of using this products. The effects are seen immediately, but much of that is due to a loss of water weight. Because of its caffeine content, this product will dry you, so I recommend that you drink plenty of water when you take it. I also think it wise to take it AFTER you exercise and not before, because it will increase your heart rate a bit and you probably don't want to stroke out while running a marathon or anything like that.
Overall, an excellent product, just be careful with it and be patient. The results will soon appear. Many diet pills are just gimmicks that don't work but this stuff really does help increase your metabolism to help you lose weight. I'd definitely give it a try if you have the chance.

Taking this product, along with reducing calories and exercising for 20 minutes a day, helped me lose 10 pounds in two weeks. Taking half an hour before exercising gave me extra enduance for my work out, and taking it on a full stomach with a full glass of water helped me avoid the quesy stimulant feeling that diet pills usually induce.

rip fuel has to be the best diet supplement i've ever tried. i havn't lost all that much weight but i have gone done two pants sizes. i've also noticed more definition in my arms, shoulders, and neck. i also has quite a kick to it. it gives me the energy to get through my 2-3 hr. work out. i havn't noticed any real side efects, it does take me a little longer to get to sleep at night but thats about it.

Knowing about the ingredients about this product I would say it's worth buying to help you trim down some along with good exercise. However, personally I was not able to tell how well it worked, because my metabolism is already high as it is.... I wanted to just lose a few pounds, because I added on too much fat when I was trying to gain weight. However, now I'm back down to a desirable size. So it was hard for me to tell whether it was my own metabolism at work or the pills.
